Cultural Exchange & Diplomacy
Platforms that connect regions through artistic collaboration, public engagement, and shared heritage.
ECECA Global Outreach connects continents and communities through programmes that are culturally grounded, internationally relevant, and built for sustained impact.
ECECA Global Outreach is a U.S.-registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization headquartered in New York City, with active branches in Barbados and Senegal, West Africa. Operating across three continents, ECECA serves as a dynamic platform for cultural diplomacy, creative exchange, and diasporic connection.
For decades, educational and cultural exchange initiatives between Africa, the Caribbean, and the United States have played a vital role in bridging historical and cultural divides. ECECA builds on this legacy by creating meaningful, forward-thinking programs that reconnect communities across the African Diaspora.
Founder & Executive Director
Nyzinga Onifa is a cultural practitioner and visionary leader advancing meaningful exchange between Africa, the Caribbean, and the global diaspora through strategic cultural, economic, and artistic initiatives.
ECECA Global Outreach is the realization of her long-held vision. During her years living in Africa, she identified a critical gap — the absence of structured, reciprocal exchange between the Caribbean and the African continent. In response, she founded ECECA (Economic and Cultural Exchanges between the Caribbean and Africa) as a living bridge connecting regions bound by shared history, cultural memory, and untapped potential.
Through ECECA, Nyzinga creates pathways for artists, youth, entrepreneurs, and communities to access opportunity, visibility, and international collaboration. Her work spans New York, Senegal, and the Caribbean, operating at the intersection of arts, culture, fashion, business, and education to build sustainable models for exchange and long-term growth.
Today, ECECA stands as a bold platform — mobilizing partnerships, catalyzing creative collaboration, and advancing sustainable development through cultural and economic exchange.
